Training Plans (for paddlers)
If you're thinking about paddling your SUP or Outrigger Canoe for fitness or to enter a race, then you should definitely use a plan! Paddle plans are a great way to structure your workouts so you avoid junk miles and the deleterious effects of grey-zone* training. If you're just starting out, then one of the three plans below should get you started on the right track for very little investment. However, if you're looking for a more robust plan (and a great platform to record all of your workouts and add a layer of accountability) I recommend one of my plans in Training Peaks. These plans come with the workouts you need in the gym too. (It is incredibly important to stay balanced when training, so that you don't develop and imbalance which leads to injury.
